Rules & Terms
How Six-Pointer works, and the terms you agree to when you enter. Please read them — entering the competition means you accept them.

1. Who we are
Six-Pointer (“we”, “us”, “the competition”) is run by Neil Page as a sole trader. You can reach us at help@sixpointer.app for any question or complaint about the competition, your entry or a prize.
Six-Pointer is a game of skill. Winners are decided by how accurately they predict football scorelines — not by chance. It is a prize competition, not a lottery or betting, and it is not gambling under the Gambling Act 2005.
2. Who can enter
- You must be 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom.
- You need a valid Six-Pointer account with accurate registration details.
- One account per person. Running multiple accounts may lead to disqualification.
- Our staff, and anyone involved in running the competition, may play but are not eligible to win a cash prize.
3. How to play
Each gameweek we hand-pick six fixtures from across the Premier League, Championship, League One and League Two (typically two from the Premier League, two from the Championship and one each from League One and League Two, though the exact mix can vary when lower divisions aren’t playing). Some gameweeks may also feature FA Cup and/or EFL (League) Cup fixtures depending on which matches are available that week. You predict the final scoreline of all six.
Predictions for a gameweek lock two hours before the first kick-off in that gameweek. After that they can’t be changed. You can edit your predictions as often as you like up until the lock.
If you don’t enter any predictions for a gameweek, your scorelines from the previous gameweek are carried over to that gameweek’s fixtures so you’re not left on zero. Once you’ve made at least one prediction for a gameweek, no carry-over happens for that week.
4. Scoring
Points are awarded per match, best case first:
- 5
Exact scoreline
you predict 3–1, it finishes 3–1
- 3
Correct result + one team’s score
you predict 3–1, it finishes 3–0
- 2
Correct result only
you predict 3–1, it finishes 2–0
- 1
One team’s score right (wrong result)
you predict 1–1, it finishes 1–0
- 0
Nothing right
—
Your season total is the sum of your points across every gameweek. The overall leaderboard is ranked on that total. Results and points are based on the score at the final whistle of normal time (90 minutes plus stoppage time); extra time and penalties don’t count.
5. Postponed or abandoned matches
If a selected fixture is postponed, abandoned or otherwise not completed before we settle that gameweek, we may void that match — no points are awarded to anyone for it — and score the gameweek on the remaining fixtures. Where practical we may instead substitute or re-time a fixture. We’ll act reasonably and apply the same rule to everyone.
6. Entry fee, prize pot & payment
- Entry is a one-off fee for the whole season, shown to you before you pay (currently £6). Where an entry fee applies, you must have paid it to submit predictions.
- The prize fund is made up of players’ entry fees. How the prize fund is split between winners will be published on the site before the first gameweek of the season.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We don’t see or store your card details. By paying you confirm you’re 18 or over and eligible to enter.
- Refunds: you can ask for a full refund at any time before you submit your first predictions of the season. Once you’ve submitted predictions for any gameweek — i.e. you’ve started playing — the fee is non-refundable, except where you have a legal right to a refund that can’t be excluded.
- Paying out prizes: after the season ends we’ll contact winners using their account email to arrange payment. You’ll need to provide valid payment details within a reasonable period; a prize left unclaimed after we’ve made reasonable efforts to reach you may be forfeited.
7. Fair play
Play fairly: no multiple accounts, no automated or bulk entry, no interfering with the site or other players. Your team name and profile must not be offensive, impersonate anyone, or infringe anyone’s rights — we may change or remove one that does. We may disqualify any entry, and withhold any prize, where we reasonably believe there’s been cheating, collusion or a serious breach of these terms.
8. Your data
We handle your personal data in line with UK data-protection law. We collect what we need to run the competition and your account — including your email, team and real name, and the demographic details you provide at sign-up — and we use the demographic information only in anonymous, aggregated form. Our full privacy notice is available separately.
9. Not affiliated · trademarks
Six-Pointer is an independent game. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with the Premier League, the English Football League, or any club or competition. Club and league names, badges and logos are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify fixtures.
10. Availability & liability
We work hard to keep the game running and results accurate, but fixtures, kick-off times and results come from third-party data providers and may occasionally be delayed, changed or wrong; the site may also be unavailable from time to time. We provide the competition “as is”.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for anything that can’t be limited by law (including death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with the competition is limited to the entry fee you paid.
11. Changes
We may adjust the selected fixtures, deadlines or these rules where we reasonably need to — for example because of postponements, data problems or to keep the competition fair. We may also update these terms; if we make a material change we’ll make it clear on the site. The version here is the one that applies, dated at the top.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. This doesn’t take away any consumer-protection rights you have under the law of the part of the UK where you live.
