Your data
Privacy notice
What we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We keep this short and only collect what we need to run the game.
Last updated: 20 July 2026
1. Who we are
Six-Pointer is run by Neil Page (sole trader), the “data controller” for your information. Questions or requests about your data? Email help@sixpointer.app.
2. What we collect
If you join the waitlist: just your email address.
If you create an account (once we launch):
- your email address;
- your team name and your first and last name;
- a few optional-style demographics — age range, gender, and the outward part of your postcode (e.g. “M21”, not your full postcode);
- your predictions, and — if an entry fee applies — a record that you’ve paid (card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store them).
3. Why we use it, and our legal basis
- Email updates — to tell you when Six-Pointer launches, and then to keep you posted while you play: results and team-performance round-ups, notifications when a new gameweek opens, and reminders to get your predictions in before a deadline. Basis: your consent — withdraw any time via the unsubscribe link in every email.
- Account, team/real name, predictions, payment record — to run the competition, leaderboards and mini-leagues you signed up for. Basis: performance of our contract with you.
- Age, gender, postcode district — only ever used as anonymous, aggregated statistics about who plays. Basis: our legitimate interest in understanding our players. We don’t use them to make decisions about you.
5. How long we keep it
We keep waitlist emails until you unsubscribe or we’ve launched and you’ve either joined or told us you’re not interested. Account data is kept while your account is active; ask us to delete it and we will, unless we’re required to keep limited payment records for tax/accounting.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw consent (e.g. unsubscribe) at any time. Just email help@sixpointer.app. Every marketing email also has a one-click unsubscribe. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the UK’s regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
